BioThis is a bit of an experiment. I decided that I was clogging up my FL on my regular journal with foodie posts that only a few people really cared about, so I figured I'd set up a separate food blog. Expect to see several picture posts, lots of recipes, and many discussions of shopping excursions. I'll also do some restaurant reviews in here, if the mood strikes me--mostly stuff from Columbus, Ohio, but I also do a fair amount of traveling, so keep an eye out for reviews of places I travel to as well.
One of my big goals is to try to eat locally as much as possible. While I'm not up to the task of the Eat Local Challenge, I do recognize that it's much more responsible to eat foods that are produced in my local foodshed, as well as much more delicious. Part of starting this blog was an attempt to document my successes and failures at it. I also prefer to eat healthy--most of my recipes come from Cooking Light Magazine. I definitely recommend that all fellow foodies get a subscription, because that allows you to access their enormous recipe database.
